MOSS BLUFF – Two significant events are scheduled over the next two weeks at Saint Charles Center, Do This in Remembrance of Me (The Importance of Anniversaries & Memories in Our Lives) on Monday, November 11, from 6 to 9 p.m. and The Way We Were: A Trip Down Memory Lane of the Saint Charles Center on Tuesday, November 19, from 6 to 9 p.m.
On Monday, held in honor of the 25th Anniversary of the founding of Saint Charles Center, Fr. Whitney Miller and Deacon Brian Soileau with the staff will recount fond memories of the “Holy Ground” of Saint Charles Center, sharing memories together seeking to understand their significance in our lives and their importance in our spiritual well-being. The suggested donation is $35.00 per person.
The November 19 Evening of Reflection will provide the opportunity to lovingly turn back the hands of time to 1995 and the early days of the formation and construction of Saint Charles Center featuring Fr. Miller, Fr. Don Piraro, Deacon George Stearns and Morris LeBleu. Hear eyewitness accounts from some of the founders and leaders of the Center, which has come to be known as the “spiritual heart” of the diocese and a “treasured jewel” for so many guests and retreatants. The suggested donation is $35.00 per person.
