UPDATED MARCH 4: Church parishes in the Diocese of Lake Charles are offering several opportunities for the faithful to grow spiritually during this Holy Season of Lent. From weekly Stations of the Cross, Lenten Missions, Penance Nights, daily Rosaries, Eucharistic Adoration and more, the following list is a guide to help you along your journey. Check back often for updates as information becomes available.

• Lenten Spiritual Conferences — “The Sacrament of Penance: Crafting the Soul for Glory,” presented by Father D.B. Thompson, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Tuesday, March 8-9. Father Thompson will answer the questions: What is sin? What is its divine remedy? What are some practical tips on how to make a good Confession?
• Stations of the Cross — 11:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., on Fridays
• Holy Hour of Reparation — 11 p.m. to midnight, every Thursday
• Blessed Sacrament exposed for Eucharistic Adoration after noon Mass until 4:30 p.m. every Friday, concluding with Vespers (Evening Prayer) and Benediction
• Daily Mass — 12:05 p.m., Monday-Friday
• Holy Rosary — 11:30 a.m., Monday-Thursday (Stations of the Cross prayed at 11:30 a.m. on Fridays during Lent); 3:30 p.m. on Saturday; and 4:30 p.m. on Sunday
• Penance Night — 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 24
• Confessions — 11:30 a.m. Monday-Thursday; 11 a.m. Friday; 3 p.m. Saturday; and half hour before each Mass on Sundays
• Cathedral will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday for visits to the Blessed Sacrament

• Divine Mercy Chaplet — 15 minutes before each weekend Mass during Lent; weekend Mass times are 4:30 p.m., Saturday; 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday

• Stations of the Cross — after the 12:20 p.m. Mass on Fridays; also at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays (no Mass)
• Adoration — before the weekday Masses beginning at 8 a.m. until Mass time

OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP CATHOLIC CHURCH, 920 South Broadway Street, Jennings:
• Lenten Mission— 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, March 10-12; theme: “Be Open to God and Receive His Blessings.” Wednesday’s topic — “I Am a Unique Person in this World”; Thursday’s topic — “Purpose of my Being Here on this Earth”; and Friday’s topic — “My Destination as a Christian.”

• Fish Fry Fridays — 5-7 p.m. beginning Feb. 26, continuing through Lent

• Stations of the Cross — 6:15 p.m., on Fridays
• Divine Mercy Novena — prayed in song on Tuesdays following the 5:30 p.m. Mass
• Daily Mass — 6:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
• Adoration — 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday
• Confessions — 30 minutes before all Masses, both daily and Sunday, as well as on Saturday, 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
