Welcome to the Diocese of Lake Charles

LAKE CHARLES — Very Rev. Keith Pellerin, VF, Pastor of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Jennings, will lead the next session of “An Afternoon with Christ,” 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, October 8, in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.  The afternoon will begin with the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, followed by a reflection by Father Pellerin, and conclude with Benediction. Father Pellerin also serves as Dean of the East Deanery and is Bishop's Liaison with ACTS Missions Retreat Inc.

As part of the National Eucharistic Revival, the goal of "An Afternoon with Christ" is to help people foster a habit of spending time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. The Year of Parish Revival — Phase II of the national effort — has been under way since June 11, 2023. Throughout the next year, the Catholic Church in the United States will experience profound renewal in Eucharistic faith and love of this most precious gift.
