Parish Catechetical Leaders (PCLs) should provide catechesis for their parish children who have special needs and who do not attend the diocesan Catholic schools.  PCLs should place the children in their least restrictive environment.  Parents who are interested in their children receiving catechesis should register them with their parish religious education program.  The diocesan Office of Religious Education can assist the parish catechetical leader with assessing a child’s needs and locating the appropriate catechetical material.  In addition, the diocesan Office of Religious Education coordinates quarterly Sunday Masses for people with special needs.  The Masses are held in the Commons of St. Louis Catholic High School at 11:00 a.m. and all are welcome to attend.  Upcoming Masses will be celebrated on February 11; April 30; July 2; and October 22.
