Two programs have been instituted to aid men who are discerning a vocation as a diocesan priest.
Vocare holds a monthly “Holy Hour to Discern My Vocation” hosted throughout the Diocese. A program of Office of Vocations, it is a gathering of young men seeking to know God’s will in their lives.
Vianney House is a residence for those in the Diocese who want to discern seriously God’s call to a vocation to the diocesan priesthood, but who have not yet made a decision to enter the seminary. Because of its structured schedule of prayer, instruction, and direction, residents are blessed with enlightenment from God which gives a man confidence in what he must do next. Click on either of the links above for more information.
For further information on vocations, please contact Rev. Jeffrey Starkovich, Rev. Nathan Long, Rev. Susil Fernando, any pastor, or associate pastor. These priests would be pleased to give you additional information about the priesthood.
