The following letter was addressed by Bishop Provost to the priests of the Diocese of Lake Charles. The letter contains information which the Bishop thinks might be of interest to the faithful of the Diocese as well. Therefore, it is being posted here for their benefit.

LAKE CHARLES -- The celebration of the Sunday 9:30 a.m. Mass from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, which has been broadcast live on the radio - KLCL (1470-AM), since the beginning of the Diocese of Lake Charles and additionally - more recently - on Jennings' KJEF-AM (1290-AM) as well streaming on both stations' websites, will now also be aired on Radio Maria 91.1 FM beginning May 13, continuing on each second Sunday thereafter.

He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, and to proclaim a year acceptable to the Lord’” (Luke 4:18-19).
