Did you miss last week's Glad Tidings program, the Sunday morning television ministry of the Diocese of Lake Charles aired from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on KPLC-TV. Or, was there something you saw or heard that you can't quite remember about the show.
Now you can catch up on the news of the Diocese and the world, hear Bishop Glen John Provost speaking about that Sunday's Gospel reading and hear a number of different interview segments during the second half hour of the program. We are now streaming footage of Glad Tidings on this website.Go to the top of the Home page and click on Resources, move down the page and click on Glad Tidings. The Glad Tidings page will then come up with the most recently added show at the top, click on the black screen and enjoy a replay of the entire hour-long program. There are a number of earlier shows also available for your viewing pleasure.
Soon a number new and interesting interview segments will begin on Glad Tidings, including Exploring Theology with revolving hosts, Rev. Whitney Miller, Rev. Keith Pellerin and Rev. Tony Fontenot.
Also new will be Catholic Life Today with interviews undertaken by three of our Deacons, Deacon George Carr, Deacon Glenn Viau and Deacon Bennett McNeal.
Plans for yet another segment featuring interviews with the priests of the Diocese done by Rev. Don Piraro, Director of Saint Charles Center, are also underway.
